Our Academy Council plays a vital role in shaping the experience of our pupils, parents, staff and wider community.
Every Lift School is guided by an Academy Council – a group of parents, staff, community members and trust representatives – who bring valuable insight and local knowledge to support our school. Their role is to ensure our vision and values are reflected in everyday school life, champion our achievements and strengthen relationships between pupils and the wider community. Through meaningful engagement, they help us provide the best possible education and opportunities for every child.
The Academy Council’s primary role is to provide independent assurance to the Trust based on the ‘lived experience’ of pupils, staff, parents, and members of the community, as well as promote stronger relationships between the Trust, the school and its community.
